Wedding Photographer in France

Timeless, elegant wedding photography in France for couples who value real moments and beautiful light

PARIS – SOUTH OF FRANCE – BORDEAUX

France wedding photography
for destination couples

You are planning a wedding in France, possibly from another country, and you want more than pretty photos. You want a wedding photographer in France who understands the light, the venues, and the relaxed pace of a French celebration.

I am a French-American wedding photographer who lives between France and California and regularly travels to photograph destination weddings. My approach is a mix of guided portraits and honest, documentary coverage, so you can enjoy the day while I quietly capture it.

Whether you are hosting an intimate celebration in a stone farmhouse or a weekend party in a château, I make sure your photographs feel natural, flattering, and true to you.

Weddings in France I love to photograph

France offers many different backdrops for a wedding. I am especially drawn to:

Château weddings in the Loire, Dordogne and the South of France
For couples who dream of celebrating in historic estates with grand facades, mature gardens and soft evening light that is perfect for elegant portraits.

Vineyard and château celebrations around Bordeaux and Saint-Émilion
Ideal if you love wine, long tables outdoors and golden-hour views over rolling vines just a short distance from Bordeaux’s international airport and city hotels.

Elegant celebrations in Provence among vineyards and lavender fields
For those who want that unmistakable South of France atmosphere: warm stone villages, Provençal colors and long summer evenings that keep your reception outside.

Paris city weddings and elopements
Perfect for couples who want an intimate celebration with iconic backdrops, from Haussmann streets to hidden gardens and rooftop views, all within a walk, taxi or quick metro ride.

Coastal weddings on the Côte d’Azur and around Nice
For celebrations that feel like a holiday, with blue sea, palm trees and glamorous venues where guests can easily combine your wedding with a long weekend away.

High-end coastal celebrations between Bordeaux and Cap Ferret on the Arcachon Bay
If you want a top-tier, high-class wedding setting, the stretch between Bordeaux and Cap Ferret offers one of the most exclusive corners of France. Guests can arrive easily via Bordeaux, enjoy its grand hotels and restaurants, then escape with you to Cap Ferret for a chic celebration on the Atlantic. Discreet villas in the pine forest, private boats on the basin, oysters at sunset and a level of understated luxury that feels more “French Hamptons” than typical tourist coast.

Why work with me for your wedding in France

1.

A French background with an international eye

I am French and have spent years photographing weddings for international couples, especially those coming from the US. I understand both cultures, which helps with communication, expectations and all the small details that make planning a wedding in France feel smoother.

2.

Documentary images, not staged memories

I give gentle direction when you need it, for portraits and family photos, then step back so you can be fully present. I look for genuine interactions, the way people move, laugh and react, and I build your gallery around those real moments rather than a series of posed setups.

3.

Support beyond photography

Destination weddings come with extra logistics. I help you think through light, timing and locations, and I work closely with your planner if you have one. You get a clear timeline, honest advice and someone who is available for questions along the way, not just on the wedding day.

4.

A limited number of weddings each year

I accept a limited number of weddings per season so I can give each couple proper attention, from our first call to long after the final gallery is delivered. When you book me for a wedding in France, I reserve that date or weekend for you and stay available for planning, travel and everything around the day(s) itself.

France wedding photography collections

Every wedding in France is different, from tiny elopements to full weekend celebrations. Because of that, I build a tailored collection for each couple rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

Collections start at $6,000, with most couples investing from $8,000 for full wedding-day coverage in France. Multi-day celebrations and additional events are quoted individually based on your plans.

I only take on a limited number of weddings each year to stay fully present with every couple. Share your date, venue, and a little about what you’re planning, and I’ll send a detailed quote for your day.

Your France wedding photography experience

We start with a video call where you share what matters most to you. We are making sure we are a good fit, and I share how I would approach your wedding in France.

Tailored collection

After our call I create a custom proposal for your wedding. This can include coverage for a welcome event, the wedding day itself and a relaxed session before or after the wedding. Travel is included in the proposal.

Planning and timeline

I work with you and, if you have one, your planner, to build a photography friendly timeline. We make space for portraits without pulling you away from your guests for too long and we plan for good light where possible.

Wedding day(s) in France

I arrive a day earlier, get familiar with the spaces and the light, then blend in. I photograph the details you have chosen, the people you love and the setting that made you choose France.

After the wedding

You receive a preview selection within a few days so you have something beautiful to share. Your full gallery follows within 8 weeks after careful editing, ready to download, share and print. Albums and fine art prints are available if you would like something physical to keep.
