Andrea & Marcus
Treasure Island: An Ideal Bay Area Engagement Photo Location?
The name itself evokes something magical. An abandoned island in the Caribbean hiding buried pirate gold. Or a lively Las Vegas hotel on the strip. Or an excellent piece of literature by Robert Louis Stevenson. And yet San Francisco’s version is far more urban and industrial than any of the above. And the perfect unique Bay Area engagement photo locations for Andrea and Marcus’ engagement photos! Scroll down to see some of my favorites, or scroll down to read their story.
Urban Vibe in the Bay
If you’re not from the Bay Area, you probably don’t even know this place exists. It’s a 1 square mile man-made island just north of Yerba Buena island – also known as the midpoint of the Bay Bridge. You can’t get more “Bay” than this island in the middle of it!
It’s got a weird but super interesting urban vibe with its old military base and shipping container storage yard. The main event, of course, is the incredible view of the SF skyline. All in all a super fun and unique place for couple photos. I think I’ll be adding it to this list of top Bay Area Engagement Photo Locations!
Stylin’ Couple
I can’t get over how gorgeously styled these two were! Andrea had told me ahead of time that one of the things she loves about Marcus is his sense of style. I couldn’t agree more! And Andrea’s got an absolute killer look as well. Their mix of classy and trendy style, along with their intimate and lovely connection made for such a great shoot. I was super stoked to be able to capture some really great moments for these love birds!
Do you have a cool photo location that you would like to share? Hit me up and let’s grab some shots! I’m always up for discovering new and unique places like Treasure Island!
