Mill Valley, California is a charming little suburb outside of San Francisco. It is close enough to the City to be accessible but feels like it’s own little world. In the middle of Mill Valley is a fantastic wedding venue: the Outdoor Art Club. It’s actually a non-profit women’s organization started in 1902 to preserve the natural beauty of Mill Valley. With this intriguing name and even more fantastic location, it’s no wonder that Mia and Richard decided that it would be the perfect place for them to celebrate their big day.
Outdoor Art Club Wedding
What a perfect wedding! The great work of wedding planner, Hitch Perfect, helped refine all the details and make their day ultra gorgeous and celebratory. Although the weather in the Bay Area is notoriously unpredictable, we had a fabulously sunny day in May. And the chapel in nearby Tiburon, Old Saint Hilary’s, made for the perfect classic setting.
Style and love
But the big stars of the day, of course, were the bride and groom. And Mia and Richard were some of the most joyful AND gorgeous people I’ve worked with. Mia wore a beautiful gown by Catherine Deane. With the amazing setting, the classy couple and the loving mood of the day, I couldn’t help but capture them, portrait style. I’ve had lots of feedback that some of these photos almost look like paintings, and I have to agree! What do you think?
