Sunny Engagement Session in Big Sur
Grace and Alex are a fun-loving couple living in the Bay Area. These two are getting married this spring and I can’t wait to show you their big day. But before they tie the knot, we all headed down to the Big Sur coast to capture a sunny evening engagement session.

Big Sur Coast Engagement Photos Experience
Alex contacted me after seeing my information on the ever-helpful and influential Junebug Weddings. We had a great first meeting and planned to shoot their engagement photos in one of the first spots they traveled to Lake Tahoe.
Well, the crazy Northern California storms of early 2017 meant that we would have been up to our ears in snow (literally!). So instead, we headed down the coast a bit to the beautiful Big Sur coast.
The sun was shining brightly in the afternoon, which made for a soft twilight after sunset. We started with some informal and cozy shots on the coast. Then Grace slipped into a gorgeous red dress and Alex went for a dapper suit as we headed up for some cliff shots near the iconic Bixby Creek Bridge. Such a gorgeous couple deserved such a beautiful backdrop!
Grace and Alex work together so well. And when I say work together, I mean that literally. The two first met on Grace’s interview at a new job. Alex was the one who took her on a tour of the facilities and even helped her get hired. Talk about making a good first impression!
They also work together as a couple. They are playful, silly and have a great connection. During our afternoon together, you can sense the way they help and support each other. I’m super excited to be with them on their big day!
